Library offering adult, teen programs in February

The Jackson County Public Library is offering free programs for adults ages 18 and older in February at the Seymour Library:

Starting Seeds Indoors is at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 with registration required by Jan. 30 and a limit of 20 people. Volunteer Purdue Extension Master Gardener Trina Roark will lead the presentation. Attendees should bring their own seeds. Registration is limited, and some registrants may be added to a waiting list after it is filled.

Wooden Bookmarks craft is at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 with registration required by Feb. 7 and a limit of 15 people. Interested adults can join the waiting list for this program.

Family Heirloom Show & Tell is at 5 p.m. Feb. 20 with registration preferred by Feb. 16 and a limit of 50 people. Attendees will bring family heirlooms and share stories with others.

The library also is offering a program for teens in grades 6 to 12 at the Seymour Library. Lovely Looms is at 5 p.m. Feb. 6, and registered teens will make a Valentine’s Day loom bracelet. Registration is required by Feb. 5 with a limit of 15 teens.
