COLUMBUS, INDIANA
On January 2, 2024, Aaron Thomas Rice passed from this earth. On February 11, 1962, Aaron was born. As his brother Mark, likes to tell the story, Aaron was born in a blizzard. And just like the sky showered heaps of snow on the earth that day, Aaron showered heaps of love on everyone he ever met his entire life. His life was filled with love, forgiveness and generosity. Aaron was special needs, so God blessed Aaron with a special love. He shared that love unconditionally. Aaron’s mom died when he was 18 and his dad died when he was 32, and he missed them dearly every single day. Aaron was a member of the Lakeview Church of Christ, Columbus Indiana. He was involved in Special Olympics and the DSI day program.
Aaron is survived by: DonJay Rice (brother), Mark Rice (brother), Kalisa Rice (sister-in-law) and his nieces: Kirsten, who always made him smile, and Kara, who understood his kind and gentle heart.
