Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will hold its bimonthly sale from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 6 in the meeting room of the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Special Friends-members-only sales are planned for 10 to 10:30 a.m. that day and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 5.

This sale will feature $25 used computers that were surplused from the library’s inventory.

Regular item sale prices are adult hardbacks, softbound books, DVDs and music CDs for $1 and children’s and young adult books and small paperbacks for 50 cents. From 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 6, shoppers may use a provided bag to fill for $5.

Anyone unable to visit the sale can shop from the ongoing sales in the Seymour Library Book Nook or sales carts at the Crothersville and Medora libraries during regular hours.

Donations for the sales are accepted during regular library hours.

Anyone interested in becoming a Friend of the Library or renewing their annual membership will find the forms at the sale, at the checkout desks or online at myjclibrary.org/friends.

Membership dues are on a calendar year, so most memberships are due for renewal. Annual dues are $5 for individuals, $10 for family, $25 for donor and $50 for benefactor.
