All governmental offices in Brownstown, Crothersville, Medora, Seymour and Jackson County will be closed Dec. 25 for Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

Those offices also will be closed Dec. 26.

The Jackson County Public Library will close for the holidays Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 in Seymour and Crothersville.

The Seymour Library also will close an hour early at 6 p.m. Dec. 18 to 21 and Dec. 26 to 28.

Customers may use the material returns at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries on the days the libraries are closed. Ebooks, e-magazines, e-audiobooks, movies and music are available 24/7 on myjclibrary.org under Online Resources through OverDrive/Libby, hoopla, Kanopy and TheShelfTV.
