Gail Marie (Graham) Bond, age 84, of Scottsburg IN, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Greenwood IN. She was born September 28, 1939 to the late William E Graham, Sr., and the late Irene Vera (Rutherford) Graham. Gail was a lifelong resident of Scottsburg and for 25 plus years was the Senior Branch Financial Administrator for Edward Jones Financial Services in Scottsburg. She was a Scottsburg High School graduate, Class of 1957 and a life long faithful member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church. Gail had a beautiful voice and loved singing in the church choir; having learned to play the guitar she enjoyed playing around the campfire. She was kindhearted and helped anyone who needed her; loved to sew, crochet, knitting, making crafts, reading; was a wonderful cook and most noted for her “hodgepodge soup” and noodles. She dearly loved her family and her dogs, Beanie &Charli. Most of all she was feisty and stern yet loving. She had a huge host of friends and to share with everyone, her final words “tell everyone I love them, and I’ll see them on the other side…Bye”. She is survived by her daughter Melinda J “Mindy” Montgomery Porter of Scottsburg, her son Micah Douglas Montgomery &Michelle of Williams IN; her son Paul Bond &Donna of Florida; her son Mike Bond of Louisville KY; brothers William H “Bill” Graham, Sr., &Ning of Scottsburg, Thomas A “Tom” Graham &Paula of Lakeland FL, Richard “Rick” Graham &Judy of Seymour, brother-in-law Russell “Bill” Wells of Scottsburg; several grand &great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 20 years Donald L Bond; her son Robert Joseph “Joey” Montgomery, Jr., the father of her children Robert Joseph Montgomery, Sr., and her sister Vicki Renee` Graham Wells.

Pastor Zachary Manton will conduct a funeral service for Gail on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, 7pm, at Christensen-Hoagland Family Funeral Home, 80 N 1st St., Scottsburg IN 47170. Public visitation will be held 4pm – 7pm, at the funeral home.
