Seymour Main Street’s annual meeting will occur at 2 p.m. Jan. 11 in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Seymour Main Street was incorporated in 1999 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with a mission to plan, promote and preserve historic downtown Seymour.

The annual meeting is open to the public and provides an opportunity for the community to receive updates from Seymour Main Street leadership.

Speakers for the event will include Seymour Main Street board President Melissa Acton, Executive Director Bri Roll and the chairpersons of the economic vitality, design, promotions and organization committees.

The committee chairpersons will present a review of the 2023 goals and objectives and provide a preview of the 2024 work plans.

The board president and executive director will also speak on the accomplishments that took place in 2023 and the organization’s vision for 2024. In addition, the board will present the 2023 budget and approve board member appointments for 2024.
