The Seymour Redevelopment Commission is accepting grant applications for quality of life projects through Jan. 10.

These grants provide partial funding for projects within Seymour’s designated tax increment financing districts that improve the quality of life for Seymour residents through downtown/beautification, education or industrial projects.

The application process is open to nonprofit organizations whose projects benefit public health, safety, morals and welfare, increase the economic well-being of the city and protect and increase property values.

New projects and/or infrastructure materials may be given priority. Materials purchased or costs incurred prior to the awarding of a grant will not be considered for retroactive funding.
