The Tribune is offering its readers a chance to get into the holiday spirit with two photography contests.

The Holiday Lights Contest is for those who want to showcase their festive decorations through photographs. The deadline to enter photos in the contest, which offers a top prize of a $150 gift card from Greemann’s Furniture in Seymour, is Dec. 6.

Readers also are invited to share their photos of Santa in our Scared of Santa … or Not Contest sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway in Seymour. The winner will receive a $100 gift card from Berkshire Hathaway. The deadline for entry in that contest also is Dec. 6.

Readers may visit tribtown.com once each day from Dec. 7 to 20 to vote for their favorite entries. The winners will be announced Dec. 23.
