Seymour

The Owls teams competed at Madison on Tuesday evening.

It was the first meet of the 2023 season for each side. The Seymour girls defeated Madison 103-67, while the boys edged the Cubs 88-82.

Seymour will be back in action on Tuesday at Jeffersonville High School. The meet will start at 6 p.m.

The Owls competed at the Edgewood Invitational on Wednesday to kick off their 2023 season.

Seymour competed in five dual meets, dropping all five: Martinsville 69-9, Ben Davis 72-12, Edgewood 52-22, Owen Valley, 67-9, and Floyd Central, 77-6.

Full results were only available from the Seymour-Martinsville dual.

Seymour will compete again Thursday against Columbus East at 6:30 p.m. The meet will take place at Seymour High School.

The girls move to 1-2 on the season and will be back in action today at 1:30 p.m. against Southwestern (Shelbyville) to face the Spartans. The game will be at Southwestern High School.
