CSX Railroad plans to close State Road 11 (Broadway Street) in Seymour beginning this weekend for railroad crossing repairs.
On or after Saturday, the road will close to traffic between Second and Circle streets.
The road is expected to reopen Tuesday, weather permitting. The detour will follow U.S. 50 east to Interstate 65 and then north to State Road 11 at the Jonesville exit.
The Indiana Department of Transportation reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
