Christmas auction to benefit brick plant restoration

Medora Brick Plant and Historical Sites Inc. will have a Christmas auction at 6 p.m. Friday at the Carr Township Conservation Club, 7709 W. County Road 350S, Medora.

Items will include tasers, knives, gloves, toboggans, metal signs, thermometers, doormats, Indiana University sports blankets, socks, large pillows, toys, blankets, braided rugs, camouflage sheet sets, men’s robes, dog beds, Christmas decorations, candles, Trump and Elvis items, scissors, wood cigar boxes, Indiana University and University of Kentucky lamps, trailer light kits, American flag sets, cookie jars, John Deere items and more.

There also will be a toy drive for the Sertoma Club of Jackson County’s Christmas Miracle.

Doors open and food will be available at 5 p.m. Soups, hot dogs, drinks and desserts will be served.

The sellers are Jerry and Phoebe Wheeler, and the auctioneer is Larry Bennett.

Proceeds will benefit the restoration of the brick plant.
