Jacob Dunn, athletic director at Crothersville High School, has announced the rosters for Friday night’s alumni basketball game as part of Big Red Madness to kick off Crothersville’s basketball season.

More basketball activities are scheduled for Saturday afternoon and night. Friday’s game will start at 6 p.m. with the women playing half-court and the men playing full court.

All players participating must register prior to tipoff. There is no charge to play. The price of admission for the fans is a monetary donation to the Crothersville Junior-Senior High School athletic department.

All Lady Tigers from the 1976 team and players from the 2017 sectional championship team will be given special recognition.

The men’s game will begin following a 3-point shot contest between games. All participating players will be introduced with special recognition to the players from the 2020 sectional championship team.

On Saturday, the Lady Tigers will play Southwestern (Hanover) at 1 p.m.

A spaghetti supper will be served in the cafeteria from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. The cost is $5.

Former Indiana University standout John Laskowski will be the special guest speaker at approximately 6 p.m.

He played basketball at Indiana University for legendary coach Bob Knight. In his sophomore season, Laskowski helped the Hoosiers reach the Final Four. In 1975, he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls. Since retiring from the NBA, Laskowski has broadcast games on the Big Ten and other networks.
