Sorority’s annual arts and crafts show coming up

Members of Beta Kappa Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha invite the public to attend the 33rd annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 18 at Girls Inc. of Jackson County, 956 N. O’Brien St., Seymour.

Funds raised this year will benefit children with special needs. Beta Kappa will take the funds from this show to support local endeavors: The Arc of Jackson County, Jackson County GAL/CASA and Special Olympics Indiana Jackson County.

There will be a variety of products to purchase for Thanksgiving and Christmas, including baked items, sourdough bread, old-fashioned baked goods, freeze-dried candies, beef jerky, homemade fudge and almond bark candy.

There also will be Christmas and Thanksgiving decor, welcome signs and painted canvases, tumblers, T-shirts, sweatshirts, laser designs, handmade jewelry with beads, bubble beads and nonprecious gemstones, including badge reels, keychains, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

The event also will include crocheted hats, scarves, shawls, ponchos, dish clothes and animals. Plus, there will be wood burnings, including cutting and charcuterie boards with demonstrations.

Children’s furniture, children’s clothing, hair braids, homemade candles, car fresheners, wax melts, body care products, geode art and direct sale items, including Pampered Chef, Scentsy and Norwex, will be available, too.

Lunch will be provided by Trinity United Methodist Church.
