Get ready to take a little walk in downtown Seymour from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 for Seymour Main Street’s inaugural children’s holiday stroll, Christmas on Chestnut.

Tickets are $8 prior to the event or $10 at the door. Each ticketholder will receive a commemorative stocking and a map of locations.

Registration will be located at JCBank or Smith Law Services from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants can expect to enjoy family-friendly activities, such as storytime, ornament decorating, a cookie and hot chocolate pit stop and pictures with Sammy Saver, Olaf and Santa.

The event is recommended for kids under 12. Parents do not need a ticket.

A portion of the tickets will be sold at the door, but only participants who purchased a ticket online before the event will be guaranteed a commemorative stocking. Tickets are available at seymourmainstreet.org.
