Fall festival coming to Seymour Armory

Eclectic Sounds Entertainment LLC will host Fall Fest 2023 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18 at the National Guard Armory, 1925 First Ave., Seymour.

Vendors will be set up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days for festivalgoers to browse and shop.

On Nov. 17, genealogy and historical findings and education tips will be presented from 2 to 5 p.m., and a battle of the bands will go from 6 to 10:30 p.m. There is a $10 cover charge at the door and $8 tickets to see the bands.

The bands that will be dueling it out include Soul Express, funk and soul; The Bomb Squad, rhythm and blues; The Subleties, punk rock; Hyde the Riot, hard rock; Tin Zelkova, rock; and Persevere, heavy metal.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase for those 21 years or older.

From 2 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18, there will be a fundraiser for Guardians of the Children, a biker organization dedicated to protecting victims of child abuse. The fundraiser includes raffles, door prizes and giveaways. Monetary and toy donations also will be accepted.

Then from 6 to 10:30 p.m., the finale of the battle of the bands will commence.
