The you-solve-it show will be “Murder on the Chattanooga Choo Choo” and feature a cast of local “celebrities” to entertain audience members as they try to solve the murder mystery to win the $250 first-place prize.

Tickets may be purchased at Jackson County GAL/CASA, 414 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, or by calling 812-569-2598. Tickets will not be available at the door.

Tickets are $40 per person or corporate tables are available. Cash, check or credit cards are accepted.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. There also will be a silent auction throughout the evening, and a cash bar will be available.

Jackson County Guardian ad Litem/Court Appointed Special Advocates is a nonprofit volunteer-powered program that provides advocacy to child victims of abuse and neglect to ensure they remain at the forefront of the court proceedings and find a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.

The program currently has 25 volunteers and staff giving a voice to more than 70 children in Jackson County; however, the wait list continues to grow. Anyone who has five to 10 hours per month to give an abused or neglect child a voice can become a CASA volunteer.

For information on the dinner or becoming a CASA volunteer, contact Deena Personett at 812-569-2598 or email [email protected].
