A new GriefShare group will meet weekly at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays beginning Nov. 4 in the fellowship hall at Surprise Christian Church, 6382 N. County Road 100W, Seymour.
GriefShare is a support group and seminar that are led by people who understand what grieving people are going through and want to help. Those attending gain access to GriefShare resources to help recover from loss of loved ones and look forward to rebuilding their lives.
Workbooks are $20. To register for the class or ask questions, call 812-569-3025 or 812-497-2679. Becky and Roger Brewer will lead the group.
GriefShare is a network of more than 15,000 churches worldwide equipped to help those in need. From a nondenominational perspective, anyone can attend. They offer biblical concepts for healing and grieving. The group’s 13 sessions are in three parts: A video seminar filled with information from experts around the country, group discussion and workbooks. Those wanting to attend are welcome to join in on meeting at any point in time.
