GoFundMe account set up to help with funeral, other expenses for window washer’s family

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with funeral costs and support the family of a window washer who died Oct. 6 after falling five stories from Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

To contribute to the account for the family of Adam Kyle Farrar, visit gofundme.com/f/adam-farrar. As of Friday morning, 37 donations totaling $2,700 had been made to the account, which has a goal of $30,000.

The 41-year-old Poseyville man died at an Indianapolis hospital after the incident reported shortly after 2 p.m. Oct. 6.

The GoFundMe account was set up by Charity Wilder.

“We are unsure what caused the fall, but we as window cleaners need to support his family. I have spoken with his wife, and all donations will go directly to her to help cover the cost of final expenses and start a fund to help with the kids’ expenses,” Wilder said.

He is survived by his wife, Arrica Stringer Farrar, son, Draike Farrar, and two daughters, Shaina Farrar and Kaidance Farrar. The Evansville native was the owner of Irish Lad’s Window Cleaning for the past 20 years.
