The Jennings County High School hall of fame committee met Wednesday to discuss the nominees for induction into the JCHS Hall of Fame.
In total, there were 12 JCHS alumni nominated for consideration and three honorary alumni nominations.
After discussion and a vote, the JCHS Hall of Fame Class of 2023 was decided. The inductees are Steve Gasper, Class of 1986; Marshall Zamora, Class of 1995; Anne Poore, Class of 1995; and Paul “Ham” Wernke, honorary alumni.
JCHS will hold a banquet and induction ceremony Jan. 13. The ceremony will take place during halftime of the varsity boys basketball game versus Bedford North Lawrence.
