Crothersville restaurant manager receives award from town council

CROTHERSVILLE — Missi Clouse has been the manager of Subway in Crothersville for seven years.

She also serves as manager of the same restaurant on Seymour’s west side.

Outside of work, Clouse is very active volunteering, currently serving as Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 522 and treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 522, both in Crothersville. She also was a class sponsor of the Crothersville High School Class of 2022.

For her commitment to the community, Clouse was presented the certificate of appreciation for excellence in community service for October from the Crothersville Town Council. The presentation was conducted during Tuesday night’s council meeting at the town hall.

“This recipient and her restaurant take pride in giving back,” council President Jason Hillenburg said. “They generously give to Crothersville Community Schools, supporting our student-athletes, and donate to numerous community events, including Crothersville Youth League. This month’s recipient loves Crothersville. She loves living here and especially takes pride in helping our community.”

Clouse received a round of applause while coming forward to accept a framed certificate and pose for photos. She also received thanks and handshakes from the council members.

The purpose of the award is to recognize a local resident, club, organization or business that is an outstanding citizen and goes above and beyond to give back to the community to help make Crothersville a great place to live.
