UPDATED at 6 p.m. today
Duke Energy crews are working to restore power to about a 1,000 customers on the west side of Seymour.
That’s down about 1,000 customers from couple of hours ago.
The cause of the outages, which stretch as far west as Crane Hill, is not being reported at this time. The outages were first reported a 1:50 p.m. today.
Duke is now estimating power will be restored to the remaining customers by 1 a.m. Wednesday.
