The Seymour Common Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes a public hearing on appropriations and tax rates for 2024, second reading of an ordinance amending city code for water and sewers, second reading of an ordinance fixing the budget for the Seymour Municipal Airport Authority for 2024 and second reading of an ordinance amending city code to update the reserve police officer program requirements.

In new business, there will be introduction of an ordinance establishing the salaries of the appointed officials and employees of the city for 2024, introduction of an ordinance setting the salaries of elected officials for the city for 2024 and introduction of an ordinance for appropriations and tax rates.
