The Jackson County Council is scheduled to meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the former courtroom at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

Agenda items include hearings on the 2024 budgets for the county, township board and township fire boards, Brownstown Central Community School Corp. because it has an appointed and not elected board and other binding governmental units.

Council meetings are open to the public and press.
