Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction Co. Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 58 for a culvert pipe replacement in Jackson County.

On or after Sept. 14, the road will close to traffic at the intersection with Cleveland Street in Kurtz. The closure is expected to last up to 30 days, weather permitting. Traffic will be routed along the official detour, which follows State Road 446 to U.S. 50 to State Road 135.

This project is part of a $4.5 million contract awarded to Force Construction in May.
