The first Saturday opening will be this week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seymour Museum Center, 220 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday. Admission is free. Another day may eventually be added, President Lenny Hauersperger said.

He also said they are working on a Seymour Oktoberfest display with old costumes, hats, mugs and more to honor the 50th year of the festival.
