The Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.
Applicant Laken Reynolds is petitioning for a special exception to construct a 25-by-40-foot building to operate a pet grooming and boarding business in a residential zoning district.
The property at 3047 S. State Road 235, Medora, where the business will operate, includes the applicant’s existing residence and three other accessory buildings.
The Jackson County Plan Commission gave Reynolds favorable recommendation during its meeting Aug. 15.
The meeting is open to the public and press.
