The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department had such a great response to Zumba earlier this year that free classes are being held again.

Taught by Maribel Brand, the classes will start at 5:45 p.m. every Wednesday in September at Crossroads Community Park, 101 E. Tipton St., Seymour. Each class will last about 45 minutes to an hour.

Zumba is a fun, fast-paced Latin-inspired dance exercise class.

Healthy Jackson County, Su Casa and Vecinas de Seymour are partnering with the parks department to make this free for the community.
