The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes special requests for street closures from Trinity United Methodist Church for a Community Harvest Festival on Sept. 16 and from Redeemer Lutheran Church for the Cruise with the Son car show on Aug. 19.

Also, the board will consider approval of a parking exemption renewal, an itinerant merchant license application and sewer adjustments, and Fire Chief Brad Lucas will discuss remodeling Fire Station 1.
