The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department’s second Denim and Diamonds Mother/Son Dance is set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 9 at Crossroads Community Park, 101 E. Tipton St., Seymour.

Registration begins today and is limited to 50, so people are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. The cost is $25 per mother/son.

ChrAsh Entertainment will be the disc jockey for the evening. The event, open to all ages, also will include dancing, pizza from Brewskies Downtown, drinks, sweet treats and yard games.
