Seymour High School Class of 1973 gathers for 50th reunion

The Seymour High School Class of 1973 celebrated its 50th class reunion July 21 and 22.

On the first night, classmates gathered at the home of Andy Storey. Bob Thompson prepared the sloppy joes and hot dogs, while those attending brought covered dishes to share.

Tim Wright and Brad Treadway provided the music.

Luminary bags were spread across the bridge honoring the 74 classmates who have passed away.

On the second evening, a dinner and dance was conducted for classmates at Chateau de Pique Winery, which is owned by classmate Gregg Pardieck. Bad Medicine provided the music.

Mark Hays, class president, began the evening by welcoming everyone and thanking the classmates and guests in attendance.

A moment of silence was given for the 74 classmates who have passed away.

Class sponsor attending this year was Janice Brock representing her husband, Jim Brock, who had passed away.

The Rev. Marc Jackson led the class in prayer before the meal that was catered by The Pines.
