The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Agenda items include approval of various requests to serve food in the Walnut Street Parking Lot, a special request for a sidewalk closure to celebrate one year of The Pacey Apothecary, road closures for Scoop the Loop and more.

Other items include approval of hirings for the Seymour Police Department and approval of updated lease of office space for Seymour Main Street and other organizations.

Department heads will also give their reports.
