The Jackson County Recycling District and city of Seymour are giving people an opportunity to recycle tires for free.

A collection event is set for 8 a.m. to noon July 15 at the Seymour Department of Public Works, 865 F Ave. East, Seymour.

Only automobile and light truck tires on or off the rims will be accepted. There is no limit on the amount of tires that can be brought.

This is only for residences, not businesses.
