The Jackson County Council will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the county courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

The council is scheduled to receive an update on Jennings County invoices for its share of operating expenses for the Jackson-Jennings Community Corrections Work Release Center in Seymour.

County elected officials and department heads also are scheduled to give their monthly reports.

Council meetings are open to the public and press.
