Brownstown Central’s Jack Benter scored 24 points to help lead the Indiana Junior All-Stars to a 105-100 victory over the Indiana All-Stars on Wednesday at Cathedral High School.

Benter scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half of the game. He was 0-for-5 from the 3-point line in the first half, but the rising senior got hot in the second half, going 5-for-7 from beyond the arc in the second half, and Benter also added 11 rebounds.

Benter, a Purdue commit, got to play against a future teammate of his as Heritage Christian’s Myles Colvin played with the Indiana All-Stars, and he will be a freshman for the Boilermakers this fall.

The Indiana All-Stars will play Friday in Owensboro, Ky., against the Kentucky All-Stars, then return home Saturday to play the second game of the doubleheader against Kentucky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
