BROWNSTOWN

Karen Lynne Stradley, 63, of Brownstown, died at 2:38 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born on February 13, 1960, in Seymour to the late Woodrow &Marjorie Lutes Hanner. Karen was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School and Ivy Tech. On July 17, 1982, she married Jeff Stradley and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2019.

Karen formerly worked at Impact Forge and was secretary at Vallonia Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, painting, being a homemaker, gardening, canning, and had a great love for her animals.

Survivors include her 2 children: Wayne (Pam) Stradley and Beth Anne Stradley, both of Brownstown; granddaughter, Karlynne Stradley; brothers: Nolan Hanner of Freetown &Ronnie Hanner of Columbus; and a sister, Ruth Hall of Brownstown.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers: Eddie &Morris Hanner; and sister, Wilma Sovern.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Kurtz Church of the Nazarene with Floyd Fisher and Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at Kurtz Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Kurtz Church of the Nazarene.
