Subdivision, industrial park expansions on plan commission agenda

The Seymour Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes a public hearing on LAST Corp. LLC requesting a primary plat for The Highlands subdivision with property located on and fronting U.S. 50. It consists of 38.59 acres with 25 lots numbered 41 to 65.

Also, there will be a public hearing on the petition to expand Eastside Industrial Park with a voluntary annexation in the 6000 block of North County Road 1000E. The affected real estate contains 76.69 acres and is zoned I-2 (heavy industrial). No zoning change is requested.

For both petitions, paperwork is on file in the planning and zoning office at city hall and may be viewed during regular business hours. Written communications or objections should be filed by 4 p.m. Thursday. Anyone interested in sharing comments on the proposals may attend the meeting.
