The Houston Fall Festival committee is sponsoring a Jeep, truck, 4×4 and side-by-side ride at noon Saturday at the Houston School, 9830 N. County Road 750W, Norman.
Registration for the 40-mile ride through the countryside begins at 10 a.m. at the schoolhouse. Participants must sign a waiver to participate and be road legal.
The entry fee is $25 and includes the driver’s meal. Then the cost is $7 per passenger and will include a meal. For those not going on the ride but wanting to eat a meal, the cost is $7. The meal will include a pork burger sandwich, chips, a dessert and a drink.
There also will be a 50/50 raffle and a grill raffle.
All proceeds will go toward the preservation of the schoolhouse.
