Redd joins JCBank as chief financial officer

Jason R. Redd joins the JCBank team as senior vice president and chief financial officer, according to a news release issued Wednesday.

Redd has worked in banking and public accounting throughout his career, most recently as chief audit officer and information security officer at First Farmers and Merchants Bank in Columbia, Tennessee. He also is a certified public accountant.

“With more than 20 years of financial experience, Jason’s broad experience and unique skill set brings an abundance of knowledge to the CFO position, and I look forward to his ability to further strengthen and position JCBank for future growth and success,” said Marvin S. Veatch, president and CEO of JCBank.

Redd is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and in addition to the five years he served at First Farmers and Merchants Bank, he held the position of chief financial officer at Southern Community Bank in Tullahoma, Tennessee, for 10 years prior.

“I am very excited to be joining the JCBank team and look forward to working with them while utilizing my experience and continuing JCBank’s investment in its customers, employees and communities,” Redd said.

Seymour-based JCBank has been an independent financial firm for more than 123 years, providing a full range of traditional banking and other relevant services. It has 12 locations in six southern Indiana counties, including Jackson, where there are branches in Seymour and Brownstown.
