Interstate 65 nighttime lane closures between Walesboro and Columbus are planned for this week.

The Indiana Department of Transportation recently announced northbound and southbound lane and shoulder closures on Interstate 65 from the 64 mile marker to the 68 mile marker between Walesboro and Columbus.
On or after today, crews are expected to begin work installing shoulder corrugations. Nightly operations are expected to begin at 9 p.m. and last until 6 a.m. and be complete by Friday. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
