Hannah Romero De Gante, a 2016 St. Ambrose Catholic School graduate and 2020 Seymour High School graduate, has been selected as a 2023 500 Festival princess. On Monday, she visited with St. Ambrose’s kindergarten and first, second and third grade students. She told them about herself and shared her responsibilities as a 500 Festival princess. She also read a book to them and answered questions. According to 500festival.com, the mission of the 500 Festival is to produce life-enriching events and programs that celebrate the spirit and legacy of the Indianapolis 500 and foster a positive impact on the city of Indianapolis and state of Indiana. The not-for-profit community organization was created in 1957, and over the years, the festival has grown to become one of the largest in the nation.
