The agenda for today’s Seymour Plan Commission meeting has doubled.

During the meeting at 5 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, Kevin Burke will request a land use variance at 714 W. Fifth St. to turn the homeplace of Seymour native and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp into an Airbnb and vacation spot, and Clayton Henderson will request a land use variance at 207 N. Fourth Street Road to run a small detailing shop out of his garage.

The other two items that were on the previously released agenda include land use variance requests from Jigar Patel to have two residential structures on one lot at 207 E. 13th St. and from Gordon and Kathy Simler to run a kennel business out of their home at 436 Persimmon Drive.

The meeting is open to the public and press. Enter through the door along Third Street.
