The board of trustees of Brownstown Public Library plans to hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. Friday to consider closing the library from Jan. 3 until the circulation area is functional again sustaining water damage.

The damage is due to a water line break over the Christmas holiday weekend.

Board meetings are open to the public and press.
