Crothersville students present Jingle Bell Jukebox

CROTHERSVILLE — It was a full house for Crothersville Elementary School’s recent Christmas program.

Jingle Bell Jukebox was presented Dec. 7 in the school’s gymnasium.

Students were under the direction of Carolyn “Grandma” Weddle.

Samantha Orrill was the lead dancer, and the special speakers were Madison Boxell, Faith Scott, Shadow Erwin, Dalton Black, Rylan Dowden, Adalyn Justice, Silas Land, Baleigh Couch, Levi Waymire, Christena Robinson and Olivia Quebbeman.

“I could not be any more honored and proud of these kids at Crothersville Elementary,” Weddle said. “I’m so blessed to have the staff there to be my support and the town, too. They all call me Grandma, and that makes me happy because I’m there for them in every way.”

She shared a very special thanks to Superintendent Chrystal Street, Principal Whitney Reinhart, Secretary Ginger Fisher, all of the teachers, aides and staff, including Grace Monroe, Vaughn Isenhower, Lisa Stollings and Brian and Tracy Karnes, and all of the parents and other family members.

“Last but not least, every elementary student for the outstanding job,” Weddle said.
