Sertoma Christmas Miracle’s Angel Trees are up

Sertoma Christmas Miracle’s Angel Trees are now in place.

Look for them at the Jackson County Public Library, Shoe Sensation and Jackson County Visitor Center, all in Seymour.

Unwrapped gifts purchased for Christmas Miracle are to be dropped off at Christmas Miracle Headquarters, Suite 211 at Shops at Seymour, 357 Tanger Blvd.

Donations to Christmas Miracle also may be dropped off at the headquarters or mailed to Jackson County Sertoma Club, P.O. Box 841, Seymour, IN 47274.

Headquarters hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

Applicants also may fill out applications at the headquarters.

Applications may be found in Seymour at the Jackson County Health Department, WIC office, Seymour City Hall, Jackson County Department of Child Services and Human Services Inc. and all branches of the Jackson County Public Library, including Crothersville, Medora and Seymour.

Applications also are available at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department in Brownstown during regular business hours, Bundy Brothers in Medora and all partner agencies of Jackson County United Way.

Applications are to be completed and mailed to Jackson County Sertoma Club, P.O. Box 841, Seymour, IN 47274, or they can be brought to Christmas Miracle Headquarters. The deadline to apply is Dec. 18.

All applications are processed through Charity Tracker, so resources can be used without duplication of other services.

“We are not associated with any national or international toy drive. Anyone who donates gifts or money to Sertoma Christmas Miracle can rest assured knowing that their contribution is used only for the children of Jackson County,” Christmas Miracle co-chairman Ryan Begley said. “This program only exists because of the extraordinary charity of the people of Jackson County.”

If there are questions, the Christmas Miracle Headquarters telephone number is 812-498-2275. The phone will be answered during open hours and will not be operative until Dec. 1.
