Head out to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge east of Seymour on Saturday morning for the Big Tree Walk.

The public is invited to a leisurely Big Tree Walk that will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at the visitor center at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

The walk will be off-trail and less than 1.5 miles to a big tree near the visitor center that most visitors never see.

Those interested in participating are encouraged to dress warm and wear footwear that can handle wet ground.
