Medora Brick Plant and Historic Sites Inc. continues to seek funding to restore the kilns and smokestacks at the historic site in Medora.

The Medora Brick Plant and Historical Sites Inc. committee plans to conduct a Christmas auction Friday at the Carr Township Conservation Club, 7709 W. County Road 350S, Medora.

The auction will start at 6 p.m. with Larry Bennett as auctioneer and Jerry and Phoebe Wheeler as sellers.

There will be Christmas items, toys, decorations, candles, gloves, socks, doormats, rugs, knives, jewelry and much more.

Doors open at 5 p.m., and food will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go to support the restoration of the former Medora Brick Plant kilns.

There also will be a toy drive for the Sertoma Club of Jackson County’s annual Sertoma Christmas Miracle, so people are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate.
