Crothersville FFA officers attend national convention

The 95th annual National FFA Convention & Expo recently was held in Indianapolis.

Seven officers of the Crothersville FFA chapter traveled and experienced this educational and exciting event, Adviser Linda Myers said.

On the first day, they attended the general session and heard from inspiring speaker Tamika Catchings, a former WNBA player and four-time Olympic gold medalist. For entertainment, they watched the World’s Toughest Rodeo at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

On the second day, they attended a career development tour and then explored the career expo with colleges from every state. Myers said it was a very educational experience.

To cap off the national convention experience, members attended the second general session.

Crothersville officers attending were Corey Engleking, Kendall Berry, Grace Smith, Baron Riley, Evin Hoevener, Brayden Crater and Cash Sawyer.
