The Seymour Department of Public Works recently announced it will bring out the leaf machines Monday.

Leaf vacuums run the day after regular trash pickup in your area, so the city asks that you have your leaves ready by 7 a.m.

When raking leaves to the curb, avoid storm drains and putting leaves near trash cans and parked vehicles.

The city also is asking city residents to keep limbs, plants, trash, recyclables, toys and other items out of leaf piles.
