The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the meeting room of the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Agenda items include the financial report, claims and docket and an administrator’s report on health, vision and life insurance by Mary Reed.

President Dan Davis will report on the nominating committee.

There also will be a staff report by Circulation Manager Christina Hime and library advocacy training on communications and advocacy.

Library Director Julia Aker will report on 2023 closing dates, an after-hours lock-in Jan. 20, 2023, meeting dates and policy review.

Board meetings are open to the public and press. Any member of the public wishing to speak during the meeting should contact Aker prior to the meeting.
