The Crothersville Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the town hall, 111 E. Howard St., Crothersville.

The agenda includes a presentation, information about veterans banners, Dennis Boley speaking about mosquito spraying, Jackson County Chamber Director Dan Robison speaking about the READI 2.0 grant plan and reports from FPBH Inc. and Administrative Resources association.

The council also will consider approval of three resolutions: Authorizing the submittal of the CDBG Owner Occupied Rehab Grant application to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs and addressing related matters, approving the confirmatory resolution and economic development plan for the Crothersville economic development area and approving spending funds from the county economic development income tax for upgrades to the new Crothersville Police Department building.

The council also will consider approval of two ordinances: Second reading to adopt the operating budget for 2023, appropriating funds and establishing the tax rate and second reading to fix the salaries of the officials and employees of the town for 2023.

Other agenda items include a Rumpke expense and capital asset management.

There also will be time at the end of the meeting for public comments.
